Consultation

The patient discusses with a surgeon about the concerns and target area.

Preparation

Clean the target area and wipe it dry.

Apply the gel

A surgeon applies the ultrasound gel to transmit energy underneath the skin level.

Begin the procedure

Ultrasound is emitted into the SMAS (Superficial Musculo Aponeurotic system) to lift and tighten the skin. The patient will feel a low heat in the target area.   

Aftercare

A surgeon gives advice to the patient.

Preparation Instructions

Preparation before Hifu procedure

  • Take enough rest.
  • Stop smoking or drinking alcoholic drinks.
  • Eat five food groups to help with collagen production.

Aftercare

  • Apply facial treatment cream, with high SPF, as usual.
  • Avoid staying outdoors for 1-2 weeks.
  • Take a painkiller if you are in pain. 
  • Do not rub the face fiercely.
  • Stop smoking or drinking alcoholic drinks.

Is exercise allowed after Hifu procedure?

Only light exercise is allowed.

Hifu is not recommended for pregnant women.
